These are my unscripted thoughts on the comics I picked up today. They include X-Men 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 4, Uncanny X-Men 7, FF 8, Captain America 8,
Avengers Arena 11, All New X-Men 13, Gambit 14, Scarlet Spider 18, Wolverine and the X-Men 32, Journey Into Mystery 653 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 23. I’ll add links to my full reviews below.
Also, sorry for the quiet audio. Finished upgrading my computer yesterday, and I haven’t reconfigured everything yet.
I am a relatively new comic book fan writing this blog for other new comic book fans and/or people who are interested in comics but don't know where to start.
I've always been interested in writing, to the point where I have a college Creative Writing Certificate and I'm currently a year 2 Journalism student. I also have another blog where I mostly make fun of bad movies - www.healed1337.blogspot.com
As for how I got into comics, I've always had a passing interest in superheroes: most notably Batman, Spider-man and the X-Men. Until February of 2011 (I think,) my only experience with any of these franchises came from the movies and video games. Shortly after I bought Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 however, I decided to check out X-23, Wolverine's female clone. I ended up reading her Innocence Lost origin story and enjoyed it. From there, I started reading various X-Men comics and it quickly exploded into my newest hobby.
My other interests/hobbies include video games, movies, music, playing sports, my dogs and weird news.

X-Men was awesome. I love it. I hope they free Karima, and she joins the team.
GotG was really good. Some cool stuff. More plot hooks being thrown in. And bashful Groot is awesome.
UXM was awesome. Some gorgeous art in the larger panels. Some great characterization. I’m interested in seeing where Illyana’s story goes.
FF was, um, interesting. Lots of fun, as usual.
Captain America was pretty good. Quite the ending.
AA is a concept that offends me. I will never enjoy anything in this series, because I am too offended at the concept.
ANXM was awesome. I loved that Bendis had the characters talk about Havok’s speech. Kitty’s response was excellent.
Gambit was a lot of fun. Can never go wrong with Pete Wisdom.
Scarlet Spider was cool. I love Aracely. And Kaine and Wolverine have a fun chemistry.
WatXM was meh. Blah. Whatever. Don’t care.
JiM was awesome. I am so disappointed that it’s ending, because it’s so good.
