I’ve talked about this before on this blog, but comic shipping companies suck. Sometimes, half of my local shop’s shipment comes in a day late, and there are often at least a few damages in their boxes. That’s what you get when there’s a total monopoly though (at least in North America).
Long story short, because the shipping company gets Boxing Day off, my local shop doesn’t have any of this week’s comics yet. As such, I’m not sure when they’ll get in. They might not even arrive today. If they show up today, then depending on when that is, I might only be able to write my usual first impressions post. If it doesn’t even arrive today at all, then I might not be able to post anything since I’m working for the rest of the week, and I don’t feel like it’ll be worth posting a day late.
If that’s the case, I’m sure I’ll think of something to post here today. Happy comic book day everyone, and have a happy new year.

About healed1337
I am a relatively new comic book fan writing this blog for other new comic book fans and/or people who are interested in comics but don't know where to start.
I've always been interested in writing, to the point where I have a college Creative Writing Certificate and I'm currently a year 2 Journalism student. I also have another blog where I mostly make fun of bad movies - www.healed1337.blogspot.com
As for how I got into comics, I've always had a passing interest in superheroes: most notably Batman, Spider-man and the X-Men. Until February of 2011 (I think,) my only experience with any of these franchises came from the movies and video games. Shortly after I bought Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 however, I decided to check out X-23, Wolverine's female clone. I ended up reading her Innocence Lost origin story and enjoyed it. From there, I started reading various X-Men comics and it quickly exploded into my newest hobby.
My other interests/hobbies include video games, movies, music, playing sports, my dogs and weird news.
Wait, so you’re not talking about companies that romantically ship comic book couples for a living?
(I’m totally kidding by the way. ;))

Nerd culture is so big right now that I wouldn’t be surprised if that actually exists.
