X-Men: Battle of the Atom 2 review
And thus ends this year’s X-Men crossover event; a crossover featuring X-Men from the past, the present and a possible future. An X-Men event that started strong, dragged a bit in the middle, and almost finished strong again. This issue … Continue reading

For the most part, this was a good week for comics. This might also be my last week of regular comic reviews until December as Nanowrimo starts on Friday. I’ll still be doing these first impression posts at least, and … Continue reading

Wolverine and the X-Men 37 review
It’s the penultimate issue of this year’s X-Men event. The final fight in Battle of the Atom has begun. It’s past, present and future X-Men vs. the future brotherhood, and it’s a bit disappointing so far.

As I’ve said before, I’m planning on participating in this year’s nanowrimo. My anticipation is so strong that I’m physically feeling it. I’m not sure whether I’ll be writing any comic reviews for that month, or just posting about nanowrimo … Continue reading

Uncanny X-men 13 review
With the Battle of the Atom now in full swing, this issue is mostly action. Cyclops leads the actual future X-Men against the fake future X-Men, Colossus and Magik team up for the first time since AVX, and several little … Continue reading

So I picked up a fair number of comics this week, some I won’t have time to read today. I haven’t been reading Animal Man lately because it seemed like they were taking Buddy Baker’s family away from him, but … Continue reading

X-Men 6 review
We’re seven chapters into the 10-part crossover and at last, the battle in Battle of the Atom has begun. This issue has a number of twists, some foreseen and some not. There’s some good psychic fighting and a good X-Men … Continue reading

All New X-Men 17 review
Before I get into this review, there are only two new comics on my pull list this week. This and the All New X-Men special. So instead of my usual first impressions post, I’ll just review these two straight up.

Wolverine and the X-Men 36 review
We’re now at the half-way point in this year’s X-Men event, Battle of the Atom. While I’ve enjoyed the event so far, one can’t argue that the pacing has been a bit slow for a major crossover. Last week’s issue … Continue reading
