Nova 2 review
The last issue was a pleasant surprise for someone who rarely likes Loeb’s writing. It was a little cliché sure, but it did a great job at introducing Sam (the new Nova). He’s a compelling character with plenty of potential … Continue reading

Nova 1 review
Nova is not a character, nor an identity, that I have much knowledge of. I’ve never read any of his solo adventures before, nor have I read Guardians of the Galaxy. So it was nice to find out that this … Continue reading

AVX vs. 6 review
Just like the main event, AVX vs. has had its ups and downs. Some of the fights have had controversial endings, such as Namor losing to The Thing while underwater. Hawkeye vs. Angel in AVX vs. 5 was particularly bad … Continue reading

Wolverine 313 review
There are only two good things I can say about this comic, so I might as well get them out of the way. First, the art is fairly good. There’s plenty of character detail and the fights are easy to … Continue reading

Wolverine 312 review
Wow this one was bad. It’s the third issue in the 4-part return of Sabertooth. Not only does this story arc feel late (Sabertooth has been back since February at least) but this story is barely about Sabertooth’s return. Instead … Continue reading

Wolverine 311 review
This is the second issue of a 4-part arc explaining how Sabertooth returned to the Marvel Universe. It feels a bit late considering he’s been around for a while. He showed up in Wolverine and the X-Men well before Avengers … Continue reading

Comic review – Uncanny X-men 15
Uncanny X-Men 15 This issue begins the battle between the Phoenix Five and Mr. Sinister’s own army of, well … Sinisters. There are also plenty of scenes hinting at tensions within the team as well. Is it any good though?
