X-men Blue 8 review
My thoughts on this issue are mixed, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. It’s a Secret Empire tie-in and I know that will make at least a few people angry. Personally, I really don’t care about the event … Continue reading

It seems like at least once a month, I pick up a whole bunch of comics in one week. This is that week. Also, the three simultaneous Marvel events have finally come to a close with today’s Monsters Unleashed 5. … Continue reading

Inhumans vs X-Men 6 review
With today’s issue of Inhumans vs X-Men out of the way, the terrigen mist story arc is over. Mutants are free to live the Earth without fear of extinction, at least from the mist. It’s a story arc that probably … Continue reading
Comics of March 8, 2017 and thoughts on Logan
So I saw Logan last night, and I really liked it. It’s not quite perfect (there are some minor pacing issues in the second act), but the character drama between Logan, Xavier and Laura worked extremely well. In fact, the … Continue reading

Inhumans vs X-Men 5 review
It’s the penultimate issue of the second hero vs. hero Marvel even that began in 2016. I get that they wanted to play on the Civil War movie hype, but why are there two of them?

Inhumans vs X-Men 4 review
I’ve been up and down with this event so far. The 0 and 1 issues were both really good, with a lot of entertaining build-up and a bit of course correction on the X-Men franchise as a whole. The 2nd … Continue reading
